Ashley Knight, Brian McCann and Kirstie Skivington begin rehearsals 11.12.2013

The much-anticipated musical version of The X Factor started rehearsals this week and features three of our clients in the show. Ashley Knight plays Louis, a role which is being covered by Brian McCann, while Kirstie Skivington understudies the part of Jordy.

Irreverent, mischievous and yet strangely touching ICan’t Sing! is the irrepressible new musical comedy hitting the renownedLondon Palladium from February 2014. Go behind the microphones and under thejudges’ desks at the biggest show on earth, as I Can’t Sing! exposes the(allegedly) true story behind The X Factor – a gloriously twisted tale of nakedambition, heartache, hunchbacks and talking dogs.

Written by BAFTA award-winning comedian Harry Hill (3BAFTA s, 7 British Comedy Awards and a Golden Rose of Montreux) with music andlyrics by Steve Brown (Spend, Spend, Spend; Spitting Image; TVBurp), I Can't Sing! is co-produced by the patron saint of famehimself, Simon Cowell.

Featuring a sidesplittingly funny original score and ahost of characters who may seem oddly familiar, this brand new production willdelight friends and foes of The X Factor in equal measure.

Directed by Sean Foley (The Play What I Wrote; TheLadykillers) with choreography by Kate Prince (Into the Hoods; Some Like it HipHop) and set design by Es Devlin (designer for London 2012 Olympic ClosingCeremony; Take That stadium tour).

Ashley Knight's previous credits include High Society,Ghost and Victor Victoria, Brian's include The Phantom of the Opera, Jesus ChristSuperstar and Sweeney Todd, and Kirstie was most recently seen in Viva Forever, and prior to that Ghost, both at the Piccadilly Theatre in the West End.
