

Currently the Musical Supervisor of the UK tours of Richard O'Brien's Rocky Horror Show and Monty Python's Spamalot, Simon's first professional engagement, as the youngest assistant conductor in musical theatre at the time, was at the age of 20 when he conducted the German premier production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Sunset Boulevard. Most recently he was the Musical Director for the workshop of a new piece for theatre by New York singer/songwriter Scott Alan & Simon Greiff and for Broadway star Stephanie J Block in her London solo concert debut.
Other Musical Director credits include: The Last 5 Years, Victoria Wood's Talent, West Side Story (Winner of Best Musical in the M.E.N. Theatre Awards 2008), Sinatra, The Rocky Horror Show, A Grand Night For Singing, Marry Me A Little, Elegies For Angels, Punks And Raging Queens, Strictly Sondheim, Silk Stockings (part of the Lost Musicals season), The Wiz, Godspell, Something's Coming, Into The Woods, Peter Pan and Going Once (workshop). Simon has also conducted performances of Acorn Antiques! starring Victoria Wood & Julie Walters, A Little Night Music, Oliver! and Les Miserables.
In December 2008 Simon played piano, accordion, recorder and provided backing vocals for Maria Friedman in Re-arranged at Trafalgar Studios. On World AIDS Day 2007, he performed with Barbara Cook at the London Colliseum, also accompanying Sian Phillips and Elaine Paige, having arranged and directed the 50 voice choir for the evening.
Extensive performance in cabaret and concert has taken him, as solo singer, around the world in venues from Jermyn Street, via the USA, to Japan. In 2003 he was invited to perform with the American touring company The Best Of Broadway in a series of concerts in Cincinnati.
Simon has given performance classes at such prestigious establishments as The Royal Academy of Music, London, The Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, Glasgow and The Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London.
